  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So! What did you pay for your brand new Genesis GV80? This is the spot where you can let others know what you paid - either out the door or otherwise...

Sal you need to edit the title and move this or edit the question.

I paid $70,000 US for my 2023 2.5T Prestige. That does not include tax and extras. Also does not take in fact of my trade-in and down payment. Just the price of the vehicle.

21 RWD 2.5 Prestige.
It was Jan of 22 and the car has sat on the lot for some time and I was not sure why.
The 22's had been out for a long time. I really wanted a GV70 but none of the 3 dealers within reach had any and they were waiting for the 23's. I could not even sit in one.
This is when when they were getting well over sticker for new cars and adding on a $3,000 worth of crap to the sticker. I got the $3,000 worth of crap for free and and they knocked off $1,000 the sticker. At the time I planed to keep the car for a long time, so the year did not make a difference to me.

Copied and pasted from the sticker:

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price: $48,900.00
ADDED FEATURES:
*VIK BLACK(PH3) Paint $500.00
*Advanced Package: $3,900.00
*Prestige Package: $4,250.00
Accessories
· *Cargo Tray $150.00
· *First Aid Kit $45.00
· *Lifestyle Hitch $400.00
· *Rear Bumper Appliqué $85.00
Inland Freight & Handling : $1,045.00
TOTAL PRICE: $59,275.00

Of course there was the tax, reg and paperwork charges, less my trade in.

8-14 -24. 2025 GV80 COUPE. 4 MILES ON IT. NOW 1052
Paid $82,357.00 PLUS $130.00 DOC FEE …Free Delivery from Jonesboro ARK TO Dallas,TX Tax Title and reg due soon …$6500.00
If I was given a dollar for every look, comment and question about this car it would cover the 2k I spent on chrome delete, black gloss wrap on spoiler, powder coat wheels and exhaust tips…gloss black. Ceramic tint. Befor and after pic.

Picked up my 24 GV80 Prestige with ~2400 miles on it for $60K. The woman who owned it couldn't figure out all the buttons and convinced her husband to trade it for a Porsch. Got lucky. The only downside is I don't get any of the dealership extras (free oil change & maintenance, concierge experience, etc., which is bullshit).

Sweet, did they sell it to you as a CPO vehicle?

Bought my 22 GV80 2.5L AWD Prestige with 12,600 miles on it and it looked basically new for $47K.

Like everyone else in Canada, I bought my Genesis through the website (which refers you to a dealer if you don't already have one) at the list price. No haggling. Discount of $2000 as a previous Genesis owner was applied in my case back in 2020.

Years ago there was a place in Pennsylvania called Reedman Auto that sold various brands of new cars. They had a lot full of them and every car on the lot had the Manufactures' sticker and then they would post their discount on it with a final price. No haggling, no dealing. They did not budge and the price on the window is what you paid. Not a bad way to do business.

Reedman also sold a lot of used cars. The weekly ad was a half page and cars were listed by price. Top left was $thousands, bottom right was $29

I paid $2000 below MSRP for a 24 prestige after last Thanksgiving.

I paid 58K+2K dealer tinting, powder coated black rims, door guards, & protection package for my new 21 AWD 3.5L in Gold Coast Silver on Halloween 2021.

I paid $58.2K for a used 2024 GV80 Prestige with 16K miles on it in excellent condition.
