  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you pay for your Genesis G80?

What was the msrp? Did you have any trade-in?

$56,440
I did trade my old 2015 5.0 in but it did not affect my final purchasing price.

I'm sorry to say bad word but you're a f**king joke. This is almost July 4, not April fool. How the hell did you get that price $45,300 OTD with only $1,800 tax?

It's called "Employee Discount." See two posts above my original post.

It's normal for affiliates and direct employees of Hyundai to have access to privileged pricing.

The privileged plans:
O was retired this year. This used to be a discretionary program which could have been generated to you by direct employees.
E is reserved for employees and direct family
V is for the Volkswagen conquest program
A is the associates/friends
Z is for dealerships and extended family members
K is for korean diplomats and consulate employees

Some general public rebates and promotions do not stack with some of these plans, such as Boostup.

I'm not an employee of Hyundai, you can definitely negotiate good deals on the 18 sports. I got a 18 Sport AWD on a 36 month 12k lease for 555/month, 500 down. 49.9 OTD

Just took delivery of a 2018 G80 Sport. Numerous discounts, former military (DD214), uber driver, repeat Hyundai customer. List was 56.8K. They started the price at 54.5K. When I was done I guess it was around 51-52K out the door. Amazing machine. No, I will not Uber this car. Enroll as a driver to get the discount, I think it was $1000.

I enrolled just to get the discount.

Hello fellow genesis owners,

Loved my '16 Genny so much that I purchased a New 2018 G80 3.8 RWD (base model) White ext/Gray int yesterday from Fenton Hyundai in Mesquite, TX.
MSRP
$42,825
Agreed upon price including rebates/offers:
$36,748
plus $86.00 v.i.t. = $36,834.00
plus Louisiana Tax, Title, & License of $1,532 which I chose to do myself instead of thru the dealership (LA sales tax is 10% of cost minus trade in value ($24,000) of 16 genesis, plus 2% of rebate $4,500)=
an OTD total price of $38,366.00.

Have a great weekend,
John

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I was offered 489/mos for 36/12k with $2k down for a 2017 AWD ultimate...MSRP 54,030....

Any thoughts on that?

I'm not seeing any significant discounting on the G80 Sport and I've tried several dealers in the Pacific NW. The lowest offer I received was $2,000 below MSRP, or $56,895 and I'm not really inclined to spend more than $52,000 on this car. Anyone else having better luck?

$54,822 OTD for a 2018 G80 Sport, AWD, Polar Ice color, today in Portland, OR.

Actually, it was only about a $4K discount. I'll bet you can get a better deal in December. The rational side of me said I should wait, but I really loved the car and wanted it NOW! No regrets so far.

Wow, that's about $9K discount. I will wait for a few months to get this one or stinger gt2.

My local dealer (south Central PA) has a 2018 G80 Sport AWD (red) advertised a $50,150 (list $58,000+). It has 1900 miles and was a factory car - never titled and full new car warranty.

Looking Lease Deals people are getting on the G80 Sport? Anyone have please post?

they are not leasing well at all and if your lucky you will get a 5-6k discount thats about it. mine was 53xxx OTD im at 630 36/10k rwd

2017 5.0 I got 10k off the sticker. $45,500. 950 miles on it. Apparently it was a VIP car. Whatever that means. I traded my 2010 4.6 Genesis sedan that has 113,300 miles on it. I got $6500 for it. OTD I'm paying $42,983. What do you guys think? I think it's fair.

Wow, going thru this right now to see what people pay for a G80 is pretty amazing! I guess i can't complain getting a 2015 model back in 2016 for 15k off sticker. I might be making a trip to the dealership sometime soon to check out the new G80 Sport.

I thought I did hood at 6500 off sticker.

I’m looking for a 2018 3.8 V6 G80 Ultimate. How much are dealers taking off the sticker? Will probably trade my 2009 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Tech Pkg, only has 61k miles on it.

I came up with the best pricing using truecar.com I had two very good prices. Even if you don't buy from that dealer, you have bargaining power in your hand.
