  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you pay for your Genesis G80?

Where'd you get that deal? I haven't been able to move any dealers around here much off MSRP (minus the $3,750 financing credit).
Everything in the NY area is MSRP on the electrified G80. His price borders on the unbelievable.

Yes, I'm in the NY area and that's consistent with my experience here. Local dealers are starting to break a bit now. Most dealers will give $1K off right away now, and I've gotten one up to about 3.5K. I still think even 3.5K is not enough of a discount for the G80e, which is not selling very well. Not sure why it's not selling, as it seems a great car, but it isn't. You'd think that dealers would be willing to discount more at this point, but they don't appear to be that eager to sell. Prices will have to come down eventually, just not sure when it will happen.

That is an insane deal considering MSRP of the EV. I am guessing that is with trade in. My OTD is 65K with trade in.

Do you have a rough idea of what your trade in was worth? I'm trying to understand what the going price is on this car.

My trade in netted 8K. It was a 2019 G80 3.3T Sport. I basically got 5K off MSRP before trade in.

did not trade in. I have a 2015 G80 giving to my brother. This was a "used" car price since Genesis used it for one of their golf turnaments, but in this case used with all the warranty not the "used car warranty"

So was the car titled or are you the 1st owner? Demos and loaners are often not titled and can be sold as new. The buyer would get all the "new" benefits. The savings have been great for me.

What does pricing look like on the 2025 G80? Can I get a 3.5 Prestige for the same price as last year?

You're best off browsing the online inventory of a local dealership. I don't think they are discounting much, but you would have to call and find out.

The dealer in Dallas was offering $8000 off 2024 GV80's. I do not know if this is common or not.

68250 for 2022 g80 sport prestige with 100,000 mile extended warranty included.
Now since we don't pay taxes at the dealer I didn't include those

$41,388 for Certified 2023 Genesis G80 Electrified w/ 10,800 miles. Includes NFC card and 3-years free charging at Electrify America. No accidents, clean service history, no outstanding recalls.

Original sticker MSRP was $81,625. I'm happy not to pay that depreciation.

I opted for the platinum extended warranty for 10 years / 100k miles w/ no deductible.

89,500 CAD for the 2025 G80 Sport Plus

I found a 2023 G80 EV with 12 miles on a used Hyundai lot in Ohio for $43,000. I test drove it and went home to talk to wifey. It sold the next day before I got off work. Although EV are on the rise in Ohio we do not have the charging infrastructure like the east and west coasts. That likely contributes to the low price.
It was new, never titled on the used lot which I found odd.
Regardless, after the test drive I knew what I wanted.
