  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you pay for your new Genesis G90?

Glad you are enjoying the car. You may not have overpaid, depending on when and where you purchased. If you purchased in ATL, then you may have paid the going price as I didn't see any discounts in ATL, when I purchased my car (2021 G90 TT) this past October. Like you, I am enjoying the car.

I paid $40K for a 2020 G90 Ultimate with 17K miles in Sep. Spotless. Beautiful Alpine blue.

Wow, that's an amazing price. AWD or RWD? CPO? Hoping to pick one up this weekend for that price, but 16K more miles.

RWD, not CPO. Got it from a Carmax in Tennessee. She was originally a lease in Georgia. Was looking to replace my 2015 Equus and couldn’t pass up that deal.

Picked up a black 2020 G90 Ultimate AWD CPO one owner car just under 33k miles for $40k out the door. Tried to talk them down, but only got them down $600.

Any pricing data available on 2025 models new?

Yep…. We looked at one yesterday when dropping of the wife’s 2025 gv80 coupe for repair. Couldn’t remember though if it was a 24 or 25. Went for a ride in one. Oh boy. Salesman promised to have me some numbers by days end.

Nothing yet. Hummmm.

I think they had 2 or 3 of them.

1788 1st payment, then 35 more. 12mi year & 400 if I dont buy at end. Pretty sure they front loaded it to get there money back. But frankly, I didnt run the numbers. Im sure I skewed the curve higher!!

Purchased a new left over 2024 G90 SC in February 2025 for $86,975.50. I live in Cleveland, Oh but had to purchase it from a Florida dealer. There were similar local deals but Florida was the only dealer that had one in Savile Silver with the Black Monotone interior that was a must have for me.

I can not express how happy I am with the car & the driving experience.

Welcome to the club! How did you like dealing with the FL dealers? When I was looking for my 2021, they would not budge on price at all.

Back in February Genesis was offering a $10,000.00 manufacturer's rebate on the 2024 G90 sc. Locally I have 3 local dealers that were offering a $5,00.00 dealer discount. The Florida dealer gave me a $6,000.00 dealer discount. That was all to get rid of the 2024 in stock as the 2025 were out. That's the good.

The Florida dealer was very hard to deal with. With the world of internet & documents that can be emailed & docusign that dealer had no idea how to do it. So at their cost they mailed all the documents to a local notary that came to my house. We sat at my kitchen table as I signed all the paperwork then that local notary fiscally mailed them back to the Florida dealer. At first the Florida dealer quoted me a price of $250.00 to collect my Ohio sales tax & have an Ohio title issued to me. That never happened as the Florida dealer could never figured out how to get it done. We finally agreed that I would pay my own Ohio sale tax & get my Ohio title on my own. To get an Ohio title, Ohio requires you to bring in the original manufacturers certificate of origin that no one at the Florida dealer ever herd of. Every car sold in the United States has a manufacturers certificate of origin. After a week of going back & forth I got someone at the Florida dealer to sign over & mail me the manufacturers certificate of origin at which time I did pay my Ohio sale tax & get an Ohio title from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The Florida dealer said they would get me shipping prices that never happened so I got my own shipping company to transport the vehicle to me.

All's well that end well. It just took some time & effort on my part. Also to get the deal I got it had to be a new 2024 out of dealer stock. Since the Florida dealer was the only one that had a Savile Silver with the Black Monotone interior it was well worth it to me. And again I am soooo happy with the car itself.

By the way I see that Genesis is now offering a $3,000.00 manufacturer's rebate on the 2025 G90.

Thanks for the details. Glad you are loving the new ride. I just came back from a drive in the 2021 G90. I bought pre-owned and very much enjoy the car as well .

2020 G90 5.0L Ultimate AWD, bought in 2021 with 5000kms/3000miles for $60,000 CDN or $47k USD at the time. Car was the dealer demo, there was another one with less than 1000kms for an extra $15k. These cars depreciate hard... lol... I can't think of another car that would depreciate 30% after 5000kms...

You've never owned a BMW or Mercedes :)

They must be a lot cheaper in Canada. I've seen 2022s in the upper 40s with 10x the mileage sell within the last couple of months.

Retail would've been around $90k for the 2020, current models are $120k in Canada. Keep in mind, when I bought it, cars were in short supply and people were overpaying for their cars in 2021. Yet nobody wanted the G90, I was watching this car for 6 months before the price dropped low enough for me to trade in my 2015 Genesis.

I am trying to buy a 2020 G90 from a dealer in FL and they want (as does just about every other dealer in FL) want $3K in additional fees (not taxes). What a bunch of poppycock! They want $45k and change out the door. I've offered $43K, don't think this deal will get done. Why does FL seem to have the most G90's for sale? Ugh. Not hating on FL, but the dealer fees there are not regulated.
Try Texas
