  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

ok, another anal question. Say your car is clean just a light coat of dust/pollen, etc. How do you get it off without washing again?

California Duster? Some like them some don't

I use a electric leaf blower it also helps in drying the car

California duster, large one for exterior and little one for dash and interior dust. I’ve been happy with mine and they are several years old. I keep them stored in then bag they came in.

I use a wet wash mit and a little detail spray then dry it again. I usually skip the wheels in this situation.

I too use an electric leaf blower.

Bonus the water runs off your car if you have a ceramic coating.

And then sometimes a rinse-less wash like ONR or McKees.

I don’t recommend any sort of duster as they will leave micro marring and possible swirl marks.

Worst thing you could do is use one of those dusters on your wheels and then your paint.

+1. I would throw the dusters in the trash - it will likely do damage (scratches/swirls) in your paint. There are much safer options out there to dry your car. Leaf blower is a good suggestion. I use the master blaster (warm/filtered air) which also works great and helps limit physically rubbing on paint

Throw any type duster in the trash on the way to get hose to wash the car. Dusting will scratch the paint, no way around it. If that is OK with you then dust. I notice most owner seem to like the fine scratches or don't care. But if you do, just wash the car.
