What do you use to clean leather interior?

Just trying to get some feedback on what you guys like for the leather interior. I have used several products on my Lexus, and just trying to see what others on here have used and what they like the best.

On the recommendation from another thread, I got a leather care spray kit by mail order from Griot's Garage: http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care/interior+detailing/leather+care+spray+kit.do. It came within a couple of days and works a treat.

Yes griots is wonderful. We havent had to detail the interior yet, only had the car for slightly over a week, but that kit from Griots looks good. So the clear liquid is for doing the doors and dash and such, and the leather spray is for the seats? I take it you just spray on, rub in and then wipe off?

I love Griots leather spray. It smells nice, leaves a smooth, non-slippery matte finish and won't clog the perforations in your leather. I know tons of people recommend Lexol, but I never cared much for it. It's also a 2-step process to clean and condition the leather, whereas the Griots is an all-in-one product.

yes I tried lexol and hated it, not only because the two step process but also because of the smell and the fact that the leather was a lot more glossy than I had liked

I love the Griot's kit as well. Be sure to spray on the cloth, not directly on the leather.

I spray mine directly on the leather and it seems to work fine. Any reason why you recommend against spraying it on the leather?

That's what Griot's instructions say. That's good enough for me . . .
