  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So far I have taken my Genesis in for minor warranty work and everytime they offer me a loaner car. I'm just wondering what other perks dealers are offering to Genesis owners out there.

Most originating dealers, to my experience, will provide you a loaner car. My specific dealership has a stripper V6 Genesis exclusive for Genesis loaners. That's pretty much the extent of service.

Premium coffee, cash wash, lounge area with wall mounted tv and surround sound, Loaner car V8 Tech since it's what I purchased.

Mine offers loaner car every time--whether or not they have any left on their lot! I drove a rental from Enterprise the last time I was in. For all the crap that most of us hear about car deals (and dealers) gone bad, these guys have treated me well. I'm guessing it's a habit with all their customers.

BTW, Grayson Hyundai, Knoxville, TN. Ask for Frank--he's the GM of the store. Nice guy, easy to deal with. They are part of a Subaru dealership, and also have a BMW dealership as well. They used to have Pontiac and Chrysler, Jeep, Eagle...three cheers for staying with it after all those guys 'left the building'!!

My dealer, Round Rock Hyundai, always provides a loaner car except for my last service. He said the last loaner was out so he got me a rental at no cost to me. The lounge for service customers isn't all that great, but they have free coffee and a TV. Overall, I would say that they are pretty good at the manner they treat the Genesis customer. When I was in last week, there was a Genesis coupe there for an oil change and they provided the owner with a rental also.

They provide a car wash also, except for last week. It was raining, so it would have been pointless.

I have been treated very well and with sincerity since I purchased my 4.6 Nov. '08. Always have a loaner car if needed. I do give them the courtesy of a call ahead of time. The treatment has been great.

When I purchased the car, I was assured that I would always have a Genesis loaner. On two service visits, I've had a POS Enterprise car (it smelled) and a new Elantra. Both were able to get me home, but neither was a Genesis. I asked the salesman about this and he said that the Genesis loaner program wouldn't start for about another 3 months. If this is true (his assurance about a Genesis loaner wasn't) it's OK.

The waiting area is spartan, with water and vending machines. They do wash the car.

I wonder if its just your local dealer that is doing the Genesis loaner program. My dealer goes to Enterprise and yes the cars are dirty and POS. =( I've been driving around with a bare bones Hyundai Accent.

Honesty!

It could be because they allow me to watch (from a distance) while they work.

My experience ( & talking to a few others ), dealers here in Eastern Canada offer NO perks. No loaners, NO rentals, NO car wash & limited skills. :(

Kyle, Texas

A free hand wash with an oil change, by the new car preparation crew. They are slow as molasses, but my car looked just like it did the day I took delivery.

I got a free loaner (brand new Sonata), car wash and a nice pen with a Genesis logo. :)

Boy, am I jealous of most of you. My dealer offers nothing. No coffee, donuts, TV in waiting room, loaners, nothing. They don't wash cars either. And after 3 visits, they still haven't upgraded the Bluetooth software either.
They're not very into the whole Genesis "thing". They have 2 coupes in stock and no sedans at all.
Sadly, there isn't another Hyundai dealership less that 3 hours away.

Genesis loaner. Dropped my car off for an appointment and was told they didn't have any loaners available. Mentioned that I drove a Genesis and was told that Genesis owners have their own reserved loaners. Got a 2010 Genesis V6 w/ Tech that had about 800 miles. Not bad at all.

Free loaner (new Sonatas, usually), free hand-detailing including leather treatment and wax (very nice!) :D but that does add a lot to the waiting time. Waiting area is nothing spectacular, but does provide free coffee and free wi-fi. Nice side area with a counter for those using laptop computers. Ed Voyles Hyundai.

Free loaner (usually a new Sonata), car wash, tv lounge with magazines and coffee. I've been treated decently by my dealer so far.
