  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Haha,he rides shutgun. For the driveway, that is in my to do list after a few other home projects. Apparently the people who owned the house before loved to salt the driveway during winter times.

its actually quite funny, our beagle-dachshund mix loves car rides and our German Shepherd/Lab gets car sick. the latter is only a year old so hopefully she'll outgrow it - she had an incident in my car last year and that was no fun at all.

dogs....

Had a Husky/German Shepherd mix that got car sick as well. Made the mistake of letting him ride in the back of my college-days Prelude with the seats folded down. He puked every bit of a 60 lb dog's worth of kibble down the gap behind the seatback one evening. Maybe its a shepherd thing.

Must be. Ours managed to puke in the gated gear shifter and all over the center console. That car was promptly traded in.

No way. Its a Manual 7 speed.

good. there has been more than one occasion that the C7s have wanted to play with me on the highway in the Shelby. one guy had a stingray convertible when they were relatively new and his license plate read "WN2PLAY". he came up on me quickly and I moved over to let him pass, then he just paced me and pulled forward a little, then slowed back down.... so naturally I had to teach him a lesson. the C7s are great machines no doubt, but no match for the Shelby on the highway in a roll race. 840hp for the win.

With the Genesis in the shop I am getting to enjoy a bit of JDM heritage.....

Touche my friend.

7-speed manual, and I rarely use 7th gear, even on the freeway.

Good. I am so happy both of the C7 owners also have manuals. Yes I know the auto is a great transmission but the joy of shifting and the driving experience cant be beat. One of the things I love about the Shelby is that it is only offered in manual.
