  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I think we should dedicate a topic to post things you have modified on your GV60. Post those pics, would love to see some new wheels or wraps.

I dipped my emblems, which look pretty good on my Uyuni White

That looks nice. It's tough to see with the photos, how well does the dip match the stock black?

That looks really good. Are you planning on doing any more?

And your car color looks pretty cool.

I think both of the above look pretty good.
I wouldn't mind painting my brake callipers. Does anyone have any idea how much that costs and how durable is powder coating?

Wasn't "today" but I had all my trim and calipers painted with Autoflex paint. Cost will vary depending on who you go to but expect around $1,000 for everything that I did. I also have a set of forged wheels on order, hopefully get them within the next month or so.

Thanks.
I’m pretty happy with the results, except for the slight damage I did when removing the tape :cautious:. I chose to stay with a matte as I like the lower trim finish, I just would have liked it darker.
These don’t really show anything much better but the surface finish was better than expected.

I’m hoping to get a thumbs up from the wife & then will look into quotes, if it’s a thumbs down, I’ll probably carry on with the spray cans ;)
My wife chose the colour & I must say I wasn’t sure but it grew on me very quickly. It’s not as pink as it looks in the pictures, it’s as hard to get an accurate image as the blue interior.

Good powder coating is very durable. Just make sure the prep work is done well. Prices for caliper painting depends on location and the installer. You just need to search the web and find an installer.

TODAY, I received my registration so I could install my license plate from my prior car! So I am now all done and ready to simply drive and enjoy this AMAZING vehicle!!

I can see why you like making the trim black I love the gray on my Uyuni White GV60. Those calipers are AMAZING!

I installed the mud guards from the Genesis accessories website. Took about 30 minutes to do all 4 wheels. You do need a right angle phillips screwdriver for the rear wheels. 60F7B125-A96D-4FBA-B856-5B9AA69307A9.webpE2CF5F63-9604-4C25-8FE4-A3BB732C350E.webp

Debadged. Pretty much always debadge my cars, but it does have a lot of dead space now, so we'll see if I keep it this way long term. I have some custom badge ideas in the

You know, I just realized that I had the mud/splash guards installed on my car. They do not show up on my sticker or on my contract. Somehow I got them for free. Lucky me.
