  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What If we didn’t have a boomerang

It looks good without it, but the boomerang has always stood out as a unique design element... Without it, it looks too German; too sterile. Just my opinion.

Great photoshop, though!

I’ve always had mixed feeling about that. Though I’m not a big advocate of chrome in general I felt the G70 did use it in an attractive manner. Not so much with the chrome boomerang. What I would have liked to see was a body colored one or black. Heck it’s still one of the best looking cars out there.

nice work! i agree with petraman though. as clean and sleek as that looks without, i kinda like the hockey stick - especially since it is functional. not sure if i'd call it unique since i've seen these on lot of other cars, but it isn't too in-your-face with the dark chrome finish at least.

Ironically, I parked next to a newer BMW 530 today and it has a chrome backwards "comma" right about where our boomerang is 😂

Are these easy to take off? I have been thinking about doing this but didn't know how much of a pain it would be to do it.

There was someone that removed it to wrap it and another posted something that made it look like you can just pop it off. I never tried though.

It really does look good. Makes it looks very clean. And honestly, I don't mind the boomerang - I could really take it or leave it. But it certainly makes the G70 just a little more unique.

Looking at it more it kind of makes me think of an Audi. Huh.

Like others said, nice work on the Photoshop - very well done. Appreciate you sharing it!

It's actually how I identify G70s from the other Genesis models. When I was in Korea the first thing I would look for was the side vent, instantly distinguishes it from a G80 and G90.

Here it is in black. Mine was wrapped on the car.

Blk bommerang 1.webp

Honestly, my issue with the 'rang is that it's chrome. What's interesting is that a lot of the sport trims in the Genesis line eliminate the chrome.

So why did their dedicated sports car get even more?

Couldn't agree more
