What is a Tag (SiriusXM)?

I've gone through the owners manual but can't seem to find an explanation for what a Tag is on SiriusXM (pic attached). When I press it when a song is playing it says "1 of 50 saved" but I don't know what the purpose is or where they are stored or how to use them.

Anyone know?

It's also available on HD Radio. It enables you to "tag" songs you like and purchase and download them later to your mobile device when you plug in

Actually, I'm not sure it works on Satellite, but is just a tab on the interface. I do know that it works on HD Radio. I tested it out yesterday

I don't know in the new Genesis (Checking the manual). I do know that in my wife's Santa Fe she tags the songs and then brings up iTunes on her phone for instant download. Once she goes into iTunes it wipes out the tagged songs on her HD Radio. I tagged a couple of songs in my new Genesis yesterday but haven't gone into iTunes on my phone yet

I'm confused how iTunes ties in since there isn't any direct link between iTunes and the system in the car...just between the phone and the car? Let me know when you find out! Thanks!

It sounds similar to Shazam without the song recognition. I'm convinced more and more that cars should basically allow a mode where the entire display is "driven" by the phone software.

Excellent idea. Look up mirrorlink which hyundai and several other manufacturers are a part of. It's coming and some aftermarket head units already offer it

So does Hyundai and others. That's essentially what Apple's CarPlay will bring - later in the year to the Genesis.
