  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What is the best way to connect an Android (Samsung Note8) to a 2015 Equus signature I just bought?

Depends on what you want to do. The biggest feature for BlueLink me is remote start. The Send To Car is nice for navigation but that is the higher cost plan.

If you want to use your Android phone for music, regular bluetooth works.

My wifes chevy she can "project" from the phone to the screen for instance Waze navigation.

So I am picking the car up tomorrow. So remote start is only through the BlueLink? It is hard to read about what you can do with the Equus on digital stuff. I figure I'll try the bluelink to start and go from there. Stephen

That is a beautiful car. You might want to go to myhyundai.com - register your car. It was probably registered with the previous owner. They will be able to do a VIN reset and you should get some free months with the services hyundai offers. If you have a problem with registering or resetting call them (number on site) and they will help you. I'm not exactly sure how you can connect your phone, but blutooth is an option and maybe USB connection. You also might be able to use Android Auto or Apple Carplay but more than likely will require a software update. You'll be able to determine this after registering your car on the website.

Thanks so much, your car is also fantastic. I was going to buy a G80, but I found this very sharp 2015 car with only 6,700 miles. I pick her up tomorrow. I can't wait.

Just picked up my 2015. Went to home menu, followed directions to bluetooth, and easily connected my Note9, if that's what you're asking.
