  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

what is this weird paint from?

No it's a black car with white protective plastic vinyl ...you can see the wrinkles on the hood .......
Did anyone notice the different style rims ???

See the original post. It is for sure a white car with a black/grey band.
The Black car with the white protective shipping cover was posted to indicate the difference. BTW those "different" rims are protective covers over the alloys :)

I actually visited the dealer that has the white genesis with the grey on the front today.
Salesman i talked with via email handed me off to another guy immediately. He said it is a grey wrap the dealer does. He said it scratched easy and it peeled right off and said he hates it.
I wanted to talk some numbers and look at the car. The salesman wanted my phone number right away, I offered my email, but he said a number was required. I told him that no other dealer needed it, but he said they did to do anything.
I told him if my number was required and my email is not acceptable for communication, then we were done. He said fine, so I left. total time from entrance to exit, under 10 min. I emailed the original contact, and she told me that he said I refused to give him any info, which is completely untrue. Had my passport, DL, CWP and 2 federal IDs in my pocket if they needed ID, but he never asked for that, and never even asked my name!
Happened to write the GM of the dealership when i got in tonight, and 5 min later, I got an apology from him. 10 min later, i get an email from the sales manager wanting to see what he can do.
We will see where it goes from there, but not holding my breath.
I was wearing jeans and work boots, not dressed fancy. I am only 38, but I make good money, have a credit score over 800 and was ready to buy a car.
Guessing that sales guy was used to too many deadbeats wasting his time on accents, and lumped me in with them.
