Any idea how long they usually last? Ended up buying the 2011 signature, fell in love with it instantly. 100k miles, always serviced by dealerships it’s whole life, not entirely sure if the air struts have been replaced or not yet.One thing that's almost a guarantee is that you'll need to replace the air struts. Both front and rear will go out on you.
Mine were replaced under warranty at about 50K milesAny idea how long they usually last? Ended up buying the 2011 signature, fell in love with it instantly. 100k miles, always serviced by dealerships it’s whole life, not entirely sure if the air struts have been replaced or not yet.
A good extended warranty is your friendThere are reports on this forum of the suspension going out before 50K. My fronts went out at 80K. There's no way to predict the time/mileage they'll go out. OEM replacements are extremely pricey ~ $2K per corner at the dealership:

For sure though, it's not "if" but "when" they'll go out. This will be my first/last car equipped with air suspension.
So far I’m loving my Equus. Seems like everyone is saying their suspension went out semi early. Haven’t checked mine yet but it feels good, and works well for being at 102,000 miles. Don’t see any signs of sagging or anything. Hearing a noise whenever I turn left but very well could be my power steering, the fluid is slightly low just haven’t got around to filling it up.Mine were replaced under warranty at about 50K miles
I dont know the cost since it was " no charge" in the dollar column
Other than that...and I realize that is a big one...the cars are pretty solid
Just maintenance for the most part
