Yes, thanks...those are the same tires I concluded would be best for me too! I need some good snow and ice traction too. I live in Edmonton, Alberta so more snow than dry pavement!

FYI, The DWS06+ doesn’t have the three peaks with the snowflake symbol (although I bet it would ace the test. Not sure if thats a requirement from your municipality, but I do know some provinces have such requirements.

Now you all don’t have to take just my word for it, looks like The Drive is on to something with these Continental DWS06+.

Ironically, The Drive doesn’t even mention the performance in the wet of the Conti’s which is the DWS06+’s best attribute IMHO. If you need a good rain tire, these rock! I Love them, highly recommended first mod for all North American GV70s!

I put a set of these on first thing. Quiet and no complaints, perform well. I can speak to how they compare to the stock as I didn't drive the car with those on. I'll be getting studded tires for winter, likely hakkapeliittas.

Not sure how deep your snows get, but I’m guessing you’re going to pleased with the snow & ice performance of the DWS06+.
