  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm in the process of ordering a set of 20" Mach ME10 rims, but I'm not sure what size tires would offer the best performance. They told me 255 35 20 on the front and back but I wasn't sure if that would offer the best ride. I'm open for suggestions and opinions from all.

I was just told by discounted wheels that they recommend 255 35 20 in the front and 275 35 20 for the rear. But I think imma go with the non-staggered look which is 255 35 20

I assume your original setup is 18x8 245/45/18 and those new rims would be 20x8.5 width.... than I would go with 255/35 - diameter will be ~9mm bigger, with speedo error ~1.28%

I didn't know what offset was.....you can change those numbers yourself.

You can calculate new setup using this online calculator http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...idth2=8.5&offset2=35&Submit=Calculate#content

I was just told by discounted wheels that they recommend 255 35 20 offset 35 in the front and 275 35 20 offset 42 for the rear. But I think imma go with the non-staggered look which is 255 35 20

I'm pretty sure they're correct on size of tires and offset. You didn't tell what is the width of new rims?
