For about the same cost you can get another 12" or more. Anything more that taking off some trim is going to be expensive.. I am going to look for a garage door contractor to see if there is a way to widen the door by another inch or two.
Of course there is, but would be very expensive and somewhat major work. You have to cut out a porion of the wall on both sides, change the header, etc. Could easily be $10k or more. The contractor reported back to me and said there's no way to make the door opening any wider based on the photos I sent.
It is button/switch where the mirror adjustment is on the driver door panel. Easy Breezy. I use mine when I go through car washes.Yes, and also have to deal with concrete foundation, a lot of work!
How easy is it to have the mirrors folded before entering the garage? Does it involve many steps to scroll through the menu to find that option?
On the G80 anyway, the overhead view still functions with the mirrors folded, but the sides of that view are pretty messed up (front and back is still good). So if one was to fold the mirrors in and put the vehicle into reverse, do you lose the overhead view? Do you lose any ability to back out of the garage without the traditional sideview mirrors?
