When you see the one you want and when the price is right.

On November 15, 2012 I took my 2008 Azera Limited to Hyundai dealership for oil change.

Four hours later (after test drive, negotiations with the dealership owner and threatening to walk away two times) I came home in 2011 4.6 V8 fully loaded white-pearl Genesis.

I thought the best time to buy mine was last year because the 2015 Genesis knocked down prices on the previous model to $20k Canadian for a fully equipped one. That was the biggest hit the used cars prices took, so after that they slowly lost value but I don't see them suddenly going down too much.
