  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Where are the So Cal Gennys?

In LA for a few days -- done a lot of driving all over - saw just one, a Platinum 2012 R-Spec on the 101. The guy was older than I am!! I almost gave him a high sign and then I remembered I was in a C6 Convertible from Hertz! :D

I seldom see any here in Carlsbad. Ours is a 2011, silver with a black interior. Love the car. Can't wait to see highway mileage on our trip to Sonoma County just after New Years.

I work in Carlsbad and recently picked up a 2012 silver 3.8...

For a min I thought it might have been me. :) But then I remembered I wasn't down in LA this weekend.

I'm seeing a few more around here. Saw my twin R Spec a few months ago in a parking lot downtown. Found out that the old man down the street has a matching one as well, just not a R Spec. So they are becoming more and more.

I was headed south on the 101, just past the 405 a while back and had a older blue Genney pull up beside me. We exchanged head nods. ;)

Couple weeks ago seen two white genesis driving one after another on 405 towards Long beach. I couldn't miss that - I joined them for improvised flashmob :) So for a few miles people could see 3 white genesis driving in line :)

If you want a SoCal genesis "meeting feel" drive around k-town...i see at least 5 everyday...and at least like 10 on the weekends

I moved to Rancho Cucamonga and drive a blacked out 09 3.8 Tech. I see genny's pretty often out here. I will say though that Romero for service really, REALLY sucks.

I am in Orange County by Knotts Berry Farm

Was just in LA this past weekend. Flew into LAX, drove up to Valencia (took boys to Six Flags Magic Mountain) and drove back through Santa Monica to see family and then back to LAX...

Saw a good number of them on the road. Hertz had one as a rental too, but I digressed, haha...

Just spent a week in the SF Valley and there was no shortage of Gennys or Equui from West Hills to Mission Hills they where everywhere. Hell there were two parked right in front of Shakeys Pizza on Reseda Monday night!
In addition to that I did notice at least down on Ventura Blvd that every other car was a Merc or BMW though crazy the volume of cars out there. TMC(too many cars) as by evidence of the fact that you avoid the freeways and travel surface streets to get anywhere in the valley!

I see a couple other sedans around Arcadia and San Marino, and a few Coupes. On my drive to work down Huntington Dr. I regularly see a black 3.8 with genesis badges.
