  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
2G Genesis Sedan (2015-2016)
My Auto Hold plastic button top popped off and I can’t find it! Is there anywhere other than taking it to dealer to have it replaced? It’s a 2015 Genesis. The button is next to Drive Mode button. Thanks!!

Welcome! Just letting you know that this topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the second generation Genesis Sedan forum. :)

I also updated the title so that people who can help will click through and read your message. To note, this isn't like other forms of social media where people come in and scroll through hundreds of discussions. Here, people scroll through topics and click on those with subject matter they have interest in.

Not the type of thing aftermarket people would make. Aside from the dealer, scrap yard but not a lot of Genesis in them.

This is probably the cheapest way to get that button ($75)

Try using a little silicon e spray or contact cleaner with lubricant around the button.

How can a spray help with a missing button?
It won't. I thought it was a sticking button. You will probably have to buy the entire switch.

The cover broke off of my power seat switch and they had to replace the entire switch under my extended warranty (just needed the plastic cover if they made it available separately).
