Where do I mount a Catch Can in my Genesis Sedan 3.8 engine bay?

Do you know if there are any adverse effects of using a catch can with a bronze filter? do they increase crankcase pressure?

Did you modify the bracket it came with or did you make this bracket from a mending plate? Thats a self locking nut correct on top of the existing nut?

I made an aluminum bracket out of stock from Home Depot, bent it as needed, and drilled a hole in each end. One hole to mount to the firewall and one hole to mount to the catch can. The bracket is not 100% necessary, the can will just sit there on it's own but I didn't want it to rub on anything or rattle around.
