  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey do you guys know where is a good place to buy OEM parts for our Genesis. I need to do the spark plugs soon and will get an oil change at the same time, but I want OEM spark plugs and OEM filter from now on. Where do you guys go get it at?

my first thought is the dealer, but that will be very overpriced.

I know my japanese cars only like NGK or Denso plugs.

I have no idea what kind of plugs Korean cars use.

There are a few people selling them on ebay out of Korea

You have 100k on your car? No need for plugs until then. The 4.6 comes with iridium plugs.

I have purchased a lot of OEM parts from this site, which is actually Hilton Head Hyundai in SC:

You may have to do a name search on "spark plug" to find it. In some cases I needed to discuss the order with them (such as when I replaced my 2009 suspension parts with 2011 version), and all I had to do was call Hilton Head Hyundai parts department.

If you live on the west coast, I believe that there are some similar websites run by west coast dealers that might reduce shipping costs. Try google.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I am near 63000 miles. Aren't the spark plugs supposed to be replaced every 60k miles? Yeah I am in Los Angeles area. I got the car used at 50k miles. And thanks for the quick replies.

100K for plugs. Check your owners manual (you can get electronic version from www.hmaservice.com).

Is anyone else having trouble registering on the hmaservice.com site? I've tried about 10 times on 4 browsers across both desktop and mobile platforms, over the past week or so.

It won't show me the user agreement (it comes up in a null page that's blank), and it won't let me register without agreeing to it. I've tried all the usual stunts to accept pop ups and I keep getting null.
