where to place my droid phone for NAV??

on my old bimmer there was a flat shelf below the HVAC buttons that was great for placing my droid phone for GPS NAV. i could set it vertically and it wouldn't move even during cornering.

on my genesis, there is no real good place to keep my phone in place. anyone have any ideas?

In your old Bimmer the cupholders were probably built into the dash and held drinks about as well as my dog. This car has usable cupholders. Get one of those cell phone holders that sticks to the windshield or sits on the dash.

If you aren't using the ash tray, the cover to it is just large enough to suction a mount on. I put the dock for my Galaxy S2 there. It's far enough in from the left side that it doesn't block the key port, and turned towards the driver so it doesn't interfere with the gear shift.

Droid?? I looked in vain for a place to put my buggy whip, but finally decided to just lay it on the back seat since I never carry passengers (or a phone)

Get yourself something similar to this, but for your specific model.

They hook on the air vents - in case you want a better view

Search amazon for "vent holder gps" - bunch of these come up. Good luck.
