  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all! A Genesis owner wanting to try out New-Sonata via a rental car. Who has Sonata for a rent? I went to LAX Dollar Rent Car and it had 2010 Sonata in April 2011.

I believe Thrifty has an older 2010 model Sonata too... Help?

BTW, I live right next to L.A. Airport

Thank you all in advance!

Each cities car fleet is different. Here in Honolulu, National, Alamo, and Enterprise have 2011 Sonata's in their fleet. Best bet, call your nearest location and see if they have it available. Aloha.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I've rented a Genesis in Chicago and in Evansville, IN. That's not a sonata, I realize, but since this is a Genesis forum....

Can't your dealer just let you have one for a day or weekend? Would he give you one while servicing your Genesis?
Btw, Hyundai's % of fleet sales is WAY down this year. I think it's 11% YTD, and only 9% last month. A good thing overall, but not when you're actually trying to rent one.

For what it's worth......I just traded my 2011 turbo Sonata for an R Spec. The two cars are day and night. Sonata is a fine car, lots of power, but ride and quietness are considerably apart. I do know my dealer has several used 2011 Sonatas, all with 35-45K miles on them. I'd wager that they were rental cars.
