  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The center speaker in my 2012 3.8 Track dominates the sound of my system (the more powerful Infinity system). It sounds more like mono than stereo and the 3" speaker in the center is far from hi-fi. Is there an easy way to turn it off?

For those who have that problem on the Genesis Coupe, how do you have your tone controls set? Are they set flat? If not, what are the settings?

I am not sure how it works on the Coupe, but tone controls may adjust the bass, mid-range, or treble.

I had a 300ZX and they came with the Bose center speaker. It is as simple as disconnecting it however, it would be best if you used a factory integration unit to use amplifiers on your other speakers. That way you don't have to worry about your factory headunit believing there is a center there, hindering your sound quality.
