I'll probably just suck that up. The only thing I don't care for on the top end is the suede. Everything else I like just fine. Is there a reason to believe the matte paint is worse than the typical paint for longevity and/or maintenance? The gray looks so nice, it's almost like a satin than truly matte.

I mean this isn't helpful to me at all. It would be good to understand the true issues with matte paint though. If it's a weather issue or a scratch repair issue, those are different considerations.

If you like matte finishes get one look at all the German Luxo brands selling their high end models in matte finishes . They require a different level of care and arent meant to go through auto washes but all car finishes are affected by those types of washes , theres a guy over on the Stinger Forums that owns "touchless" wash locations and he admits he would never run his car through them due to the harsh chemicals ....................matte finishes are here to stay .Ignore that other dweeb...it has nothing to offer.

i was told mid june when i was looking at putting a deposit down on one a few weeks back.
most the horror stories on matte paint are from people that either got an aftermarket matte paint or got wrapped years ago. most the factory matte paints now a days are done well and dont require anything too specialized to care for, but there are some differences in care. The people i know with factory matte finishes just wash their vehicles more often to mitigate the issues you can get.
