Last night I drove to the store to pick up some wine. I got back in the car and started it up. All of the warning lights were on in the center cluster and I could not shift out of park. The engine was running. If I would have had my wits about me I should have taken a picture of the display. Everything was red and I believe a few things were flashing. After a few seconds trying to shift out of park I shut the engine off. I then started the engine back up and everything was normal. I drove home without incident. This morning, to my delight, the driver's heated seat stayed on all the way to work, about 30 minutes. I had previously been suffering the "intermittent heated seat" problem detailed in another thread.
