Why all the hate from stinger drivers?

As a frequent visitor to the stinger forum, I can't help but notice all the G70 hate. Damn, what did we do? Lol. I always get so excited to see a stinger on the road but it's either not reciprocated or they have no idea we have the same platform. I've had a few people told me that I should've gotten a stinger instead or that the G70 doesn't turn heads CHILL

Yeah, I get the same feeling at times... I'm not sure what the deal is but maybe they just feel inferior because the G70 has some advantages over the Stinger such as handling, lighter weight and better interior. The Stinger advantages are the hatch and more leg room in the back seat.

Bottom line: They are both great cars that share the same platform and either decision is the right one. It mostly likely comes down to the look you prefer.

Stinger groups on Facebook seem to be more welcoming. I haven't detected any hostility.

I agree. Both car has different advantages/disadvantages for different needs. I can confidently say that a lot of people ask me about my car. Hell, once a guy came up next to me (we weren't going fast probably like 40s), rolled his window down and screamed to ask about the car.

Stingers definitely look nice but to me, I love the look of the G70 more (biased). Sucks to receive/see so much hate from the other side. I also feel like everyone knows Kia and the only reason people say "what car is that?" Is probably because you rebadged your Kia (this is me throwing a little shade back lol)

I've had the exact same "no idea the cars are related" reaction.

Just brought home the G70 3.3T sport. Neighbor came over and asked what made me buy an Aston Martin
