  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Why is there no way to turn off the rain sensing wipers?

Okay, so title. On all the Genesises I’ve come across, there is no way to turn of the rain sensor and revert to intermittent wipers. At least on my 2015 I can’t find a way. Is there a way to revert to intermittent wipers? I know newer GM vehicles give you the option to turn the auto function into an intermittent function based on preference. Considering we can adjust so many other things like the number of times the signal flashes when using the easy lane change function , it’s surprising to me that we can’t turn off the rain sensor.

So long story short, there’s no way forever to intermittent wipers? I guess I would have to code that in then?

Nope. Low, High, Mist, Rain sensing.

Some people hate them, I like them. Set about the middle they work well for me. Evidently not for you,

So there would be no way to code them? I mean I guess I don’t mind them I’m just puzzled considering you can customize so many other functions of the car. I mean could I code a function in myself at my own risk?

Just turn to wipers to off instead of auto and wollah

I haven't seen any case where a fixed interval better covered the situation than rain sensing (neither option is perfect).
