  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I want either a Track package or the R-spec package I heard about coming out later on in the model year but on the web site, the blue colors are not offered on the Track packages. Does anyone know how Hyundai is about ordering colors on their cars? How much do they normally charge for it?

there is a track version offered in bluee, i have the brochure right in front of me so dont fret.

ok thanks. I'm in Iraq right now and haven't been able to get much paper work. I should get home in OCT. though so I'll be right on time to go pick my baby up cash at the dealership :)

Don't splurge on car right after u get back from a deployment. I had the urge to myself but I saved it. Now I have a good chunk of money for a down payment on a house.

Yeah, I was going to buy a house but I will not be staying at Fort Drum long enough to make it worth while. I am going to get my wife and I set up with transportation this deployment and then get a house after the next one. They are already telling us that we will be in the stan 12 months after we get back home. If I buy a house, I can't ship the wife and kid down to mom's house for the year and save all my BAH. I want to make sure that we both have cars that are reliable so that I don't have to worry about coming home and fixing cars in the NY cold.

Only the V6 is offered in Blue, Lime Green, Light Blue... etc.

Reasoning is for the interior... the 2.0 Track ONLY comes with red/black interior. They eliminated all the exterior colors which do not match with the red.

2.0 and 2.0 premium comes with black cloth... and all possible exterior colors except yellow for the 3.8 track.

Also another random fact, strangely, only grand touring v6 comes with brown leather.. black leather for the 3.8 and 3.8 track.

Hyundai should have made brown/black leather optional on ALL 3.8 models... like a BMW.

Also... is anyone else disappointed by the fact that there is no leather for a 2.0?

Let me know if you ever need anything brotha. Hell I'll mail you my brochure if you want it, or of course you can go on the Hyundai website and ask for one in the snail mail. I think they'll do that... most car sites will.

Point is I've spent 36 months in Iraq so I feel your pain and I know the deal. Truthfully I look back sometimes and I think to myself I wish I had used my saved up hard earned cash for a house but hey, that's what VA loans are for right? :D Do your thing and get home safe.

No he's not wrong, wrong, wrong ... he is saying you can't get either BLUE or the GREEN on a 2.0T "Track" model because of the Red/Black seats.

He also stated you CAN get all colors but Yellow on 2.0T base & Premium.

Re-read his post !!

YES ... also disapointed that the 2.0T Premium is not similarly equipped as the 3.8 GT !!

Don't car about the Auto Climate control or Backup warning, but DO want the HID's, Fog Lamps, and Leather in my Premium 2.0T !!

Also want the LSD, but GT does not have this either.

I agree it was a bit mis-leading at 1st, but if you also re-read the original post ...

Both the original post and the reply were refering to 2.0T models with the Black/Red seats ... and as I said, the reply may have been a little mis-leading but it was not "wrong".
