WIFI Question

What is the benefit of connecting Genesis to WIFI. I connected my 2015 to my phone and don't see that I can do anything that I cant do not connected. I am sure in the loads of manuals that I have something is mentioned but thoght I would hit up the forum to see if anyone already knows.

The WIFI feature is for when any apps are available (if they ever do become available) it’ll be used to download them into the car. The apps will specific to the car not cell phone apps. When you say you connected your cell phone I assume you tethered it (used it as a hotspot). Not sure if that’ll work if there ever are any apps available (not saying it won’t).

Thanks. I did find some info already on forum on wifi subject. (Guess all you need to do is search) I did notice my car searched for apps to download but found none.
