Will Genesis Sedan with Tech Pkg Play Flac?

Will Genesis Sedan 4.6 w/ Tech package play Flac audio files say from CD or DVD? I have some music that are in flac format and wanted to know if it will play.

I have been trying for over a year to get some Flac's converted to a 5.1 source capable of play form the Genny. Nothing seems to work AND retain the 5.1.

I wish artists would release 5.1 audio sources for their products.

Will the car play 5:"1 audio when attached to video DVD?

If so make a DVD with audio 5:1 only - sans video.

Awww... that shucks. That means I'll have to convert the files... or get something like Cowon J3 which will play Flac...

I've been spending time ripping my albums into FLAC(well ALAC) and putting those instead of the 128Kbps MP3s on my iPod. It definitely sounds better, there's a much better range. Will the headunit play FLAC off of USB maybe? I haven't tried that yet.
