  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone know the answer? Went to local Hyundai dealer today & parts guy said porobably but brake caliper clearance might be an issue.is offset the same.My car has 245/45 X18 .I have found a set of 1st gen wheels & snow tires for sale locally (Calgary ) & would like to buy them for my car.

Most likely they won't fit in.
When I had my 1G Genesis, I was lucky to buy a set of snow wheels/tires from our member here, as he traded in his 1G for 2G and those wheels wouldn't clear the front brakes.
Two years later, I sold them to another member when I traded in my 1G for 2G, lol

non-AWD usually doesn't fit AWD cars and vice versa, the backspacing and offsets are different because of the front drive.

My car is 38 MM offset. I think the fitment issue could be brake caliper clearance. I just wondered if anyone on the forum was running 1st gen wheels on a 2nd gen.
