Will it void warranty?

If you have an issue with your headlights that appears to be caused by your modification, it naturally will not be covered under warranty. Otherwise, you're safe!

^ Agreed. According to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the dealer must prove that the fault is due to your modification. Otherwise, they must cover it. For example, they can't blame the HID's on say an 02 sensor or exhaust issue.

My dealer is happy to install it for a price, I hope if the dealer installs it, may well be a good indication that I will notloose warranty

I don't think the modification (HID lamps) would be covered by the Hyundai warranty. The warranty is offered by the manufacturer, not the dealer, and they warrant the OEM parts, not after-market parts (even if installed by the dealer).

However, if something other than HID lamps goes bad, then the after-market HID lamps will not void the warranty on things not related to the headlights. It could void the warranty if some kind electrical system problem was caused by the HID lamps, but that is unlikely if you are careful in selecting the correct ones and if installed correctly.

Fwiw, I installed HIDs on my P+ Genesis, $65 shipped. Not sure what the dealer is going to charge you, but I wrote a DIY here on it. Considering that its just a plug and play system, I can't see it causing any real issues.

My dealer is asking $90 to install it. I have the kit with me. Money is not that important issue here. I just want to make sure that when a dealer installs it, they will do it proper way and also will be responsible for any electrical fault caused by the installed lights. I know, I am not looking for them to give warranty on the HID lights, but they must be responsible for any damage caused by installation of those lights, otherwise they refuse to install aftermarket parts...am I right?

^ not necessarily. The aftermarket's a fun world. Aftermarket products will cover their faulty product, but will NOT cover any labor associated. So you'll most likely have to foot the labor on the R&R. I'd double check on it. If it's workmanship, they should cover that regardless.

Warranty on your vehicle (on new vehicles or their work) is covered by Hyundai USA. Regardless, the dealership gets paid for the work, just Hyundai pays for it, not you.

My genny w/ tech came with HIDs, but I wasn't happy with the color temp (too yellow) so I upgraded to 5000k bulbs for a whiter look. It's going to be slightly different compared to the non-HIDs, but I'd happily pay the $90 - it was TIGHT working in there.

That said - don't expect the dealer to stand behind any part of the installation after it leaves the facility. Yes, they are a Hyundai dealership, but for the purpose of installing aftermarket mods - it's no different than taking it to Best Buy.

Don't sweat it... in most cases, HID kits are plug-n-play - no cutting, no splicing. Your only real challenge is not touching the bulb! Provided you use a quality kit with a quality ballast and not a sketchy chinese eBay kit - you'll have no problems whatsoever.

I did the MOD at my delaer. The HID look great. I have 2 small problem. When I keep the light in Auto mode, only one lightcomes on. But when I switchit to Light On mode and restart the car both the HIDs come on.
The second problem ,I see two darklines on the road win lights path, may be from both HIDs under surface. My stock light had uniform lights on the roag with mo blackline. Any one has similar problem
