Will not pair with phone?

I have a 2012 Sedan 4.6 with the Tech Package. Recently the car will not automatically pair with my phone (Samsung Note 8). This is something new as I have to manually pair my phone with the car each time I get in to drive.

Any ideas?

Did you have any updates on your phone recently?

This happened with my LG V30 after previous update. It stopped pairing with my Panasonic home phone unit and with Genesis. I had to go to Bluetooth settings on the phone, turn it on and off several times, rebooted the phone several times. It works now with Genesis and Panasonic.

Have had a couple of phone updates. Didn't want them, but couldn't stop them. Will give your fix a try.

Had a little trouble the first time I tried pairing my GS9. Here's what worked for me.
1. Delete all pairings from the car.
2. Delete any pairings for the car that are on the phone.
3. Re-pair.
4. Once you have the pairing set in the car, edit it in the car and check the box for Auto-Reconnect.

Once I did this, it has worked flawlessly.
