  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello! So,like many on this site, i have problem with street noise inside car,and only cure for that is lowering door glass a bit. My dealer dont know how to fix that, and says there is no problemo and all is fine. But it isn't. So i know that many fix this problem at dealers shop, maybe someone can tell my how exactely they fix this glitch?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The car should not have the noise. There is a problemo, the mechanic. Could be a bad window regulator. Maybe loose weatherstripping around the window. A loose seal will allow wind and road noise. If your dealer cannot fix it, try another one. I am VERY sensitive to wind noise and the car is very quiet.

Good luck

Genesis is one of the quietest cabins on the road... Zero wind noise. The only 'road' noise is the tires over expansion joints or rough payment.

not many people have problem with wind noise in the genesis.
it is one of the most quiet cars you can buy.
i'd raise the issue with the service manager or the general manager.
if that doesn't work, then go to another dealer.

It comes as a big surprise to learn you have a noisy cabin knowing that Genesis has one of the quietest cabin in the segment.
The first thing that comes to mind and wheatherstrips, have them inspected by your mechanic and lubricated as needed.
I haven't heard of anyone complaining of this problem before ;)
