  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Lately I've been getting an exit message saying the front passenger window is open even though it isnt... there is no visible gap, and no leakage when I run a water hose on the door FULL BLAST. Any suggestions???

Was it opened during the trip and closed? Does it happen every time?
The window may need to be reset. If that does not fix it, the sensor may not be working properly.
To reset the power windows
If the power windows do not operate
normally, the automatic power window
system must be reset as follows:
1. Place the Engine Start/Stop button
to the ON position.
2. Close the window and continue
pulling up on the power window
switch for at least one second.
If the power windows do not operate
properly after resetting, have the
system checked by an authorized
retailer of Genesis Branded products.

My passenger window also does this, but I chalked it up to the in-channel window visors I put in.
