Windsheild Wiper Replacement

My stock wipers are going to crap already and the car only has 5500mi on it. I need some new wipers and will probably go with something similar. Does anyone know how to put the wipers in "maintenance mode"? I can't figure it out.

Also, what are you guys using for wipers? Any suggestions?

FYI... My dealer replaced my original pair for free. I asked if they were covered under a 1 year wear warranty and they said it was no problem, they would replace them for free. They said a new set is almost $80 from Hyundai.

I carry an extra set with me, "just in case". I think I paid something like $27 the pair, at my Hyundai dealer. I think regular price is something like $19 each, so if they try to charge you more, tell them what they can do with it.

I got a coupon from the dealer in the mail for Hyundai wiper blades for $20. Had to order a pair for the genesis. Went to pick them up today and the person at the parts counter said they were $36 each and could not honor the coupon without authorization from the owner who was out to lunch. I said I would wait and after about 10 min. he said he would not make me wait any longer and I got the pair for $20.
