  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any suggestions? If they're all OEM then it might not matter much. Any knockoffs to avoid? This is for the back emblem, steering wheel, and 17" wheels. Thanks!

edit: Best place to order is right here!

eBay. They're all pretty much the same price. I just looked for the best price with shipping and that they had photos and descriptions that indicated they were Hyundai-Mobis genuine parts.

You might be able to save with a bundled rebadging package that several sellers are offering.

You may want to check with dealers in your area. One dealer in my area had them, the other did not.

I know that some dealers are re-badging, though I don't know whether corporate knows that or not.

My dealer told me that they could, but they'd have to mark up the price, so it would be better for me to just buy them myself.

Ended up finding them on eBay. $18.98 for the steering wheel emblem and $37.89 for the wheel caps with the front and back emblems. Prices reflect shipping costs.

I agree eBay is the place to go. I got trunk, hood, and wheel emblems for $47 with shipping from Korea. It took two weeks but everything is OEM.

What do you think of the steering wheel badge, assuming you bought the stick-on and not the one with the airbag? I am wondering how much it sticks up or ifyou notice there is another (H) badge underneath?

I have the steering wheel emblem and it looks like it came from the factory..perfect fit :D

Pictures of the steering wheel badge are in this thread: http://www.genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=3251

There are a few listing at ebay. I ordered online and it is from the one that sells car parts in los angeles area. I'm expecting it to arrive by saturday.

E-Bay is probably the best place. As more buyers get the wings, dealers are raising the prices.

Korean Auto Imports has also raised their prices quit a bit over the last year. Hyundai dealers are probably purchasing from ebay or Korean Auto Imports (maybe at bulk rates) since HMA does not import those parts.

Yeah. I gave my local dealerships the Hyundai Part numbers directly off the badges, and it didn't come up in their system. If a dealership has them, they're buying them from someone importing them or having them imported. Hyundai USA does not "officially" sell them in the US.

I have tried buying parts on ebay already. But it was from a trusted seller. According to him, his supplies are from a certain shop that sells car parts in los angeles.

I have a 2011 V8, and I learned about the wing badges from these forums. I want to add them to my ride. I feel a bit confused though because a lot of the instructional links to ebay items to do the quick/easy DIY rim insert mod are dead.

Can anyone tell me if the 17" rim inserts in this kit are the things I can adapt to fit my 2011 V8 rims: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aa8e35330

If I like how things look at the end of the day, I may have to go with a new airbag, too.

Thanks in advance!

Yes these are what I used and it works great. The oven idea is a good one just don't go above about 200 degrees on your oem 18" wheel cap. As i have said to others go slow when removing the metal wing cap covers.

I ordered my 18" wing wheel caps, wing air bag module and Hood wing emblems from Koreauto World with no problems and always received the items with in a few days. The Hood Wing emblem will come with the post already removed and ready for installation. I did not care for the look of the Hood emblem on the car so with in a few days I removed it.
