  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Was looking into getting winter floor mats and was wondering if anyone here has the WeatherTech FloorLiner Digital Fit ones ? They are somewhat expensive <$173.17 including tax> but they seem quite sturdy and decent looking.

I have the standard Genesis all-weather floor mats from Hyundai and I have to say that during the winter in Chicago I get quite a lot of salt/debris build up around the mat, around the accelerator and the foot rest. So I think the weather tech will probably do a better job since they are taller and cover more area than the standard ones.

Weathertechs are awesome. Well worth the coin. :)

I have the Weather Tech mats on my Genesis. I purchased them despite the fact that they didn’t have the two posts on the driver’s side unique to the 2011 and up models. I was going by a prior post that even with one hole for the hold down post the mat worked fine. Well the result was yes and no. It stayed on sometimes and sometimes not according to the stress on the front of the mat by the pedals. Still I was very impressed the coverage of the mats (Fronts Only). They are very sturdy and have great coverage from front to back and side to side. So with great anxiety I made a hole for the second post (The passenger side only has one post and that one worked fine). It works fine now and stays in place. So there you have it. If you want the great protection it supplies then that’s what you’ll have to do to be completely satisfied. At time of order Weather Tech did not have the mats with two holes on driver’s side. Hope that helps.

Has anyone found a "monster mat" set for the sedan. I can't seem to find specific Genesis MM's online.

I just ordered the WeatherTech mats last week as I cannot stand to stain/ruin the carpet and carpeted mats.

Thanks to all who posted. I have them on my 2001 Audi, they were a little different then, but I will be picking them up next week locally.
