  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wiper Blades ?

I have 14 years on you, and my 3.8 could be the last car I ever buy <snip>. A purchase like the RSpec just doesn't make any sense to me, but still, it's pretty enticing.

We're a little off topic, but ...

Sounds like we're about the same age, but that's exactly why I bought my R-Spec. No regrets so far. :D

We have no rain in San Diego. :welcome:

My experience (waaay back) with Rain-X blades was not very good. Maybe they're better now, but, with all the other "good" options available, I'm taking no chances. I'm not dedicated to any one brand of blade, just whatever I happen to stumble across with a name I know and that's what I buy. But never Rain-X.

I am having good luck with OEM blades. The first set lasted almost a year and about 18,000km(12,000mi). The second set are still going strong.

^^^^ +1 and the dealer changes them for free at least once a year when in for routine service.
