  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Do not waste your time and money trying to put Rain-X wiper blades on your Genesis they do not fit. I got them from the on-line store they said they were for the Genesis sedan, they were the right lenths but could not be connected with ant of the adapers included. Thr web store is now closed so and I lost the reciept so the screwed me out of 50 bucks. IS THE DEALER THE ONLY PLACE i CAN GET WIPER BLADES..

I bought Michelin blades at Walmart today. I think they were about $14 each. They also had Rain-X blades for a little more. The ones I bought fit fine and seem to work well - at least with the windshield washer spray. I had to put the adapter on a flat surface and press down hard with the blade to get it to snap into place. Then it attached easily to the wiper arm.

A few months ago, I went to Advantage Auto and looked at the Rain-X wipers for my car. (they were on sale). Yes, they provide adapter to attach them to many wiper arms. I brought my stock wipers in and compared the Rain-X adpters to the stock wiper. NO WAY was the Rain-X going to fit the stock wiper arms. I checked everything that Rain-X supplied, and none would work.

A couple days later, I purchased the Hyundai blades. They discounted them to me and I carry them as "emergency blades" in my trunk, for the day I must install them.

BTW, my stock OEM blades are still working great. I clean them every so often, wiping them with soap, or Rain-X on a rag. Keep them clean and they will not streak.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Rain-X sells the "Latitude" and a "Latitude" v2 that packages more connectors, including one for the Genesis. The packages look almost identical but have one additional icon on the cardboard sleeve IIRC. I was at AutoZone to buy some but they only had the 24" in the v2. Later when I went in to have the oil changed, my dealer agreed to replace the wipers with OEM as they were <1 years old.
