Wireless carplay poor phone quality on GV60 23

Ugh, sorry to hear that you had problems with this. My experience was seamless so I’m curious, what iPhone/iOS are you using? I’m on an iPhone 16 running iOS 18.01.

Got it. Could be the older phone but who knows. CarPlay can be quirky. Today, I found that my Qobuz music subscription app wouldn’t function thru CarPlay but Apple Music and Tidal were fine. Annoying yes, but as my daughter would say, definitely a first world problem.

I can confirm that on both of our GV60s with either my iPhone or my wife’s iPhone, the issue is gone!

The call quality is not crystal clear but the main issue of cutting out is fixed!

Also, if for some reason you still have this problem after you upgrade to the latest version of iOS (which, as of today, is iOS 18), do know that you aren't forced to use CarPlay for your phone calls. You can, for example, choose to use CarPlay for Navigation but then switch back to the Genesis's system for phone calls.

How do you do that? I’m having same issue here in Australia with a new GV60.
