  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all!
I just purchased a 2015 Genesis 3.8 Htrac and absolutely love it! I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their trim to an aftermarket wood trim kit? I want to find one that matches the current wood already inside (which seems to be the same color they used in all their cars?). Does anyone know the name of the wood?

Didnt know that was available!

What about upgrading to the open pore wood from the Ultimate?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
That’s the one I was considering. Was the quality decent? They say it matches the manufacturer wood, but wasn’t sure if it’s actually accurate.

I installed several pieces on a Caddy SRX. As I recall the color hatch was right on and the quality not bad considering the price. I'm sure if you're trying to match OEM wood exactly, you may or may not find an exact match. I suppose if you can return it worst case scenario you'll just ending up wasting a little time and the shipping cost.

Not sure how that would work exactly.

Pieces Are snapped in with clips. Order the ultimate parts from dealer. And replace yours. Pretty easy swap, but not cheap.

I was initially looking at the 5.0 Ultimate and was going to swap the wood for the sport carbon fiber, but ended up with a sport. But when I looked into it, swapping the parts was pretty easy, but about $800.
