  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Would 3.8 coupe headers fit 3.8 sedan motor? Same GaDA engine?

I’ve always been curious about this and why I haven’t seen it down but I talked to one of my mechanic friends back in NY and he said the gaskets were the same size. I’m curious to see if anyone has any insight if it may or may not work because of cleareance or what not. Any suggestions?

My thinking is no. Reason being although the engines are the same - explaining why the flanges on the stock exhaust manifolds are identical - the runs down to the remaining/lower exhaust assembly are likely different due to them being on completely different platforms. I may be wrong - and you never know - but I suspect this is likely the case.
