  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Update....we now have close to 46,000 trouble free miles. The only issue that cropped up was the dial wizzy thing on the console got flakey and was replaced under warranty.
I think my $9K discount was well worth the gamble.
I looks like the dealer was straight up and honest and Hyundai really did a buy back in the name of customer satisfaction. I know my friend who bought a SHO had no such luck with Ford and had serious problems with that POS.
Anyhow our life situation has changed and this car really doesn't suit our needs at the moment so I am reluctantly going to put her up for sale.
I will let you know how much of a resale hit I take due to the title. I don't think it will be very much, I am selling it privately and will provide full disclosure and assure the buyer that the only difference between this car and any other is simply the title....and the fact that I have taken excellent care of this one.

Or better yet, have them certify it (if that is something different from what vitacura was saying). If they won't, then you may want to consider walking away. I think that would force them to stand behind the vehicle. This is a Hyundai dealer, right?

I deleted my text due to a confusion I made with the dates. My considerations were made as if everything was taking place now.

If it did get bought back by Hyundai due to the Lemon law that means there were issues that they were not able to correct. They tried several times to correct them before the court Forced them to buy it back. They just do not say ,You are unhappy ? We will buy it back from you.
