  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So someone came to me the other day and asked if I was considering wrapping the vehicle in a clear wrap. I actually have thought about doing this before, for at least the front of the vehicle..... front bumper, and hood. I don't think wrapping the entire vehicle is worth it and I know it's VERY expensive to do so. What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Thank you, good sir, honestly didn't think of doing that! I sometimes forget there is a wealth of information in this community.

Had the front and mirrors wrapped. (Vic Black) Cost a grand but there are no chips or road rash after two years.

I picked up my G70 a couple of Saturdays ago and before leaving the dealer showroom I wrapped the entire front with a removable "track wrap".

It looked absolutely egregious but it protected from any chips on those first days before I could drop the car to get the XPEL clear bra installed. #noregretts
