  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

WTB: A 2014-16 Equus Ultimate in Canada. Any leads? Also, air suspension concern.

As the title suggests, I want to buy a last generation (2014-1016) Equus Ultimate. The problem is there are none for sale in Canada. Not even one.

Does anyone have any leads? Maybe you know someone who's thinking of selling theirs who I could connect with.

But while I have your attention, I'm reading some of the other threads about air suspension problems, and I'm wondering: how common is this? Do I even want an Equus, if I'm worried about having to fix the air suspension? Maybe a Genesis (sedan) is a safer bet, albeit one with a less plush ride.

If you have any insights, please let me know.

The air suspension is a common problem. I first heard of it in 2015.

If you really want this car, can you buy one in the USA? Fly there to buy, and drive it back?
My work won't leave me leave the country without taking an unpaid two week leave of absence when I return.

But besides that, when you consider the exchange rate, doing so would be quite pricey; one of the reasons I want this car is because it's such an amazing value. Spending C$35,000 would negate that, especially when I can get a Signature in-country for roughly C$20,000.
