  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2012 3.8 Genesis with both packages. Love the car except for the vibrating passenger seat.

Is there anyway to have the radio default to the "presets" selection when using XM Radio? I have always gone by the presets and it is REALLY annoying to have to go back to them each time I go to listen to XM. I haven't been able to find an answer.

Great question but I don't believe it can be done. I just started using the preset screen when listening to the radio. It makes channel changing easy and makes up for the loss of preset buttons.

I hope there is an answer but I haven't found it.

I just got my 2013 w/tech pkg and put in some xm stations in preset ...how do I undo and replace with a different station. My 2009 w/o tech was very easy. I must be missing a step because I can't seem to take out a previous preset and put in a new station.....
Thanks for any help,

Replacing a preset XM station with another is so simple on the 2012 w/tech that I cant even describe how to do it.

I figured out how to replace presets....I was missing the last step.....DAH! :-(

Unfortunately, you can't "default" to the presets. Stupid, yes. Wish you could though.

Can you describe the procedure? I've wanted to do this...
