XM Radio

I have a 2015 Genesis Sedan with the Nav and XM radio and have owned the car since new. Suddenly the radio will switch from XM to regular radio several seconds after start up. In the past, the radio would come on to whatever was programed and playing previously when car was shut off (almost on XM at most of the time). I stopped by the dealer and had their "tech expert" check it out. After several attempts pressing various buttons, his solution was to sell me a new G80! Really like the one I have and am not in the market for a new one, just curious to see if anyone else has had a similar issue or suggestion. We are able to manually switch back to XM and it works fine, just don't understand why the sudden issue.

I have the same model as you. My XM problem was that it wouldn't connect to XM sporadically. Had to bring it back to the dealer 3 times before they saw it happen. End result was they gave me a new radio which is now fine. Don't settle for excuses. If the radio doesn't function properly you are entitled to a new one. The radio is still under full warranty. I had to call Hyundai support before the dealer moved on it.
